Fudan-Latin American University Union (FLAUC) and Fudan University Faculty of Foreign Literature will jointly hold three rounds in September and October 2018, with a total of nine lectures on the theme of Latin America and China. Famous Chinese and foreign scholars in the field of China-Latin America Studies will be invited to attend the lecture. There will also be a delicate tea break. All the teachers and students from Fudan University are welcome to attend the lecture.

Mr.GUO CUNHAI, the Executive director and Deputy Secretary General of the Latin American Society of China, Executive director of Argentina Research Centre, co-founded and is in charge of the CECLA. He is also the academic leader in Latin American culture. Having visited Mexico、Brazil、Costa Rica、Argentina、Chile、Peru、Cuba and Jamaica and carrying on academic exchanges with peers,Mr.GUO CUNHAI is studying the ideas and culture of Latin America、China-Latin America relations、Chinese cultural diplomacy towards Latin America and Chinese investment and sustainable development in Latin America as well. Content: Since the eighteen Party's Congress, the comprehensive partnership between China and Latin America has developed rapidly. The overall cooperation and bilateral cooperation go hand in hand, the Sino Latin American Forum and its various cooperation mechanisms are in stable operation, and the second white papers on the Latin America policy set a new strategy for Latin America's diplomacy. The Belt and Road naturally provide new impetus to widening Sino Latin American relations. However, in the new era, Sino-Latin American relations are facing the challenge of sustainable development. He was served as the director of western languages at Shanghai International Studies University (1995-2014), President of the association of Asian Spanish scholars(2010-2013).
