Chinese International Cooperation towards Latin American region: 2001-2014

Abstract

This paper explains the role-played by Chinese International Cooperationand other factors in the design of China's foreign policy towards the receiving countries, especially in Mexico and Latin American countries. Therefore, this paper aims firstly to set forth a review of the theories of International Aid, from a descriptive perspective. Secondly, to analyze through a comparative analysis to the contributions through International Cooperation made by China to Latin American countries during the period enclosed between 2001 and 2014, in order to determine the China national interests and the real significance of its aid through the International Cooperation in the Latin American region.
