Uniandes was included in the position number 272 among the best universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings (2016). It is also ranked as a top university in Latin America, occupying the eighth place in the subcontinent according to the QS LatAm University Rankings (2016). It’s the only Colombian private university with national accreditation for ten years, since 2015. Additionally, Uniandes has received international accreditations, such as the one granted to the Faculty of Engineering in 2012 by the ABET, and the Triple Crown Accredita- tion granted to the School of Management by EQUIIS, AMBA and AACSB. Following its tradition, Uniandes strives to hire teachers with the highest academic standards: currently, 73% of the 692 full-time professors, hold doctoral degrees. Furthermore, the University has approximately 20.000 undergraduate and graduate students, 3.900 in master degree programs and 450 in PhD programs. The infrastructure covers 164.000 square meters approximately and includes classrooms, laborato-ries, libraries and other services for the students, as well as the university has on-campus housing facilities.
