Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile is one of the top universities of Chile. It was founded by the Church on June 21, 1888.
The work of the University focuses on science, culture and education. The University is committed to considering the best ways in which progress in human knowledge can be used for the superior benefit of mankind. The University wants to testify for the benefit of all, even for those who do not believe in Christ.
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile is composed of 18 Faculties that encompass a range of areas of study. Together, they offer applicants to our University a wide array of undergraduate, graduate, certificate and continuing education programs each year.
The University’s mission is for “Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to reach excellence in the creation and transference of knowledge and educational training of people, inspired by Catholic values and always at the service of the Church and society”.
